The YUKAY BARLAS universal seed drill is a mounted machine, attached to the tractor via a three-point hitch and driven by a wheel. The continuously variable transmission ensures a uniform seed rate for each sowing tine, whilst the row spacing and sowing depth are adjustable. The independent press wheels reduce germination time by increasing seed-to-soil contact. The discs are symmetrically arranged and allow for planting at a row spacing of 13 cm, whilst the additional rake system works any seeds remaining on the surface into the soil. The seed drill is available with or without a fertiliser unit, with a row count ranging from 15 to 31, and can be fitted with a decametre and an electronic tracking system.
